'Tis the Season to start on this years Gift Basket Drive for Women's Shelter.
Last season Shelley Porritt (Founder), with volunteers from all over the GTA created
the AMAZING 2,350 gift baskets. This means that 2,350 women throughout Etobicoke,
Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, East York, North York, Ajax, Scarborough, Milton,
Oakville & Burlington received a gift during the holidays.
Below is the poster that we ask you to pass along to whomever you feel would be
able to help in our drive. Please send to friends, family, coworkers & company
contacts and post up where you can on bulletins, laundry rooms, etc. Every little
bit helps.
This year the deadline for the donations is November 16th. The sorting of the
product will be done on Saturday November 21st. The assembly of the baskets will
be on Thursday November 26th, 27th, 28th & 29th. Reminder that this is a great
chance for your teenagers to get some of their school volunteer hours.
No small children are allowed.
