| The Mimico by the Lake BIA runs along Lakeshore Blvd. W. from Alexander St to Allen Avenue. Home to a wide variety business, it is a great place to shop or visit one of the many restaurants or cafes.
The BIA is undergoing a number of improvements - many building owners have recently renovated their buildings and upgraded their facades. The BIA has just completed a major tree planting program. The TRCA is currently building the $10 million Mimico Linear Park, that, when completed, will provide trails and bike paths along the Lake.
The BIA sponsors and annual Tree Lighting Festival in early December.
