CRAFT SHOW & SALE - Call for Artisans

Waterfront Trail Artists is pleased to announce a Craft Show and Sale to be held in conjunction with Lakeshore BIA "Shop the Shore" event. The sale will be held at the WTA Art Centre - 2979 Lakeshore Blvd W., from 10:00 - 4:00 on Saturday September 25, 2010. Waterfront Trail Artists is a non-profit organization supporting and promoting the work of local artists and artisans. We are currently looking for ARTISANS AND CRAFTSPERSONS to participate in the show and sale. 1st Ever Bowling for Baskets Bowl-a-Thon!

When:	Sat, Oct 02 from 1pm to 4pm
Where:	Bowlerama on Dundas Street

The 10th Annual Gift Basket Drive for Women's Shelters is hosting a bowling fundraiser to help cover the cost involved with the basket drive. As we get bigger every year the expenses also get bigger. Last year we were able to donate 2,440 baskets to over 41 shelters. This is amazing! Our goal for the Bowl-a-Thon is to raise$8,000! So for our 10th year why not have a great fun-filled day with family and friends. Here is how it works: Teams of 6 players at $50 per person. Or you have an option to use the attached pledge sheet that will require a minimum of $50 in pledges. That is just getting 10 people to donate $5 dollars each! This will get you 3 games of bowling, shoe rental, as well as food. Players can consist of adults or children. Costs per player remains the same. For every $5 pledged you will be able to give your donor a $5 off coupon from Bowlerama! What a great deal for your donors!! The 10th Annual Gift Basket Drive for Women's Shelters is not a registered charity therefore we are unable to provide tax receipts. That is why we are giving out the Bowlerama coupons as our way of saying Thank you. Prizes, raffles, games and more! It is going to be a great way to really appreciate the time we spend with friends and family while still making a big difference in the lives of women who are not as fortunate as us. Participation must be confirmed by August 20th. See attached for team sign-up sheet. You can either email the sheet in or fax it to us at 416-253-5445. Pledges to be brought in prior to the 2nd of October to Porritt Real Estate Inc. (3385 Lake Shore Blvd West) or brought the day of the event. We are also looking for any prizes we can use the day of the event. We are also looking for prizes for a silent auction If you know of anyone or have something please contact us. Lane sponsorship will also be available for a fee of $200 for companies that are interested. A sign will be put at the end of the lane over the pins with the company name and logo.
